Level Planning (Techniques)

Using Crytek’s Level Design Bible (2004, B.Bauer) I found that there are techniques for planning a level that focuses on gameplay. These diagrams are specifically for planning a 1st person multiplayer map however they have core principles that can be carried over into a tower defense game such as enemy Routes, Capture & defend points.

CTF Diagram Elements:
> Routes / Intersection
> A flag in the middle
> Opposing teams (Red + Blue)
